Eddy Carroll, Michelle Francis, Nien-San Lee, Rowena Martinich, Rachel Jessie-Rae O’Connor, Tania Schultz, Rosa Tato and Yandell Walton are Fluoresce Studio – a collective united by their interest in bright colours found in nature as well as the flashy fashions of the 1980s. Using adhesive murals, craft-based processes, painting and projection, these Melbourne-based artists invite the viewer to engage with the visual potential of fluorescent colour. Visit as they turn NGV Studio into a testing ground for experimentation, collaboration and the development of new works to be exhibited at their residency’s close.
